Pregnancy Symptoms.. have these symptoms affected any other woman who has been pregnant? I'm 20 years old and never miss a period in a month due to birth control, my period was due last week and I have been getting very faint cramps that come and go, sometimes leaving me feel like I'm about to start my period but nothing. Yesterday my nipples were very sore, tingly, and very red also abnormally erect, it even hurt to put on a bra, plus my areolas are huge now, my breasts have been aching ever since. I have been bloated for the past 3 weeks and been getting these little shock feelings in my abdomen, along with I have been extremely tired. I have also noticed that my puppy who normally keeps to herself has been very interested in being around me even following me to the restroom and very curious and I find it odd. I'm just so worried that if I am pregnant how will I be able to tell my boyfriend and I'm so worried on how he will react.
So curious for other womens opinions. | | I did have similar symptoms when I was pregnant, but I wasn't on birth control. Are you taking pills, shots? What type of birth control are you using? You could also be experiencing changes due to the birth control method you're using. Talk to your doctor and do a HPT to be sure. | Kidney infection & spotting/no real period? Hi, I'm 22 years old and very concerned, because in October I seemed to have an abnormally light period - I would actually call it spotting, rather than a normal period. I noticed a little blood on my panties in the morning so I used a tampon and later, a pad but at the end of the day there was no blood on either the tampon or pad. The next morning I had another few drops of blood on my new panties. I also noticed a little blood when I wiped after peeing, but again VERY little.
The same week, I had a guyney infection and was rushed to the hospital because of the pain. I gave a urine sample and they confirmed that I had a guyney infection, and said nothing about whether or not I was pregnant which gives me the impression that I was not at the time. But I can't be sure because I don't know the science behind that, so maybe they just didn't check for a pregnancy at all.
I was prescribed Cipro, and finished the bottle as directed, but am still experiencing some symptoms of a lingering UTI (strange discharge, and painful sex).
I had the same spotting in November as well (with no "real" period), and I am waiting for my period this month but I don't really expect it for another week or so.
I have also noticed other symptoms, such as my boobs being sore (specifically my nipples), and I feel that I am getting bigger in the tummy but I have had problems with my weight fluctuating in the last two years so I really can't be sure what is happening, except that I feel that I've been eating very lightly.
I have also noticed that I am EXTREMELY bitchy lately, possibly over sensitive, especially at work.
Now, usually my periods are very heavy and painful, so it being so abnormally light the last two months, almost non-existent, really, is a huge concern for me.
I am sexually active, and have had multiple partners in the last three months but I have used condoms every time. My ex boyfriend and I were extremely careful. And the two other people I've had sex with over the last two months have also used condoms. (I've had sex once with each of the latter two guys). However, I am not on birth control.
Should I be concerned about pregnancy? | | well these symptoms could be from a number of things, it could all be from the guyney infection. or maybe you are pregnant and should take a pregnancy test. OR maybe you WERE pregnant but lost your baby when you crashed in the car. But whatever is going on I would recommend speaking to a doctor about everything you put on here. |
